Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

Jaewon Lee, based in Republic of Korea, operates DOG-E and is the controller of personal data described here. For privacy requests, email support@dog-e.app. Security reports can be sent to support@dog-e.app.

2. Data we process and why

• Account data: your Google account identifier, email address, email-verification status, DOG-E user ID, and sign-in timestamps. We use these to create and secure your account.
• Documents: the file you upload, its filename, translated output, intermediate processing files, format, and page count. We use these only to provide, troubleshoot, secure, and deliver the translation service.
• Usage data: job ID, document format, page counts, output format, completion status, and quota counters. We use these to enforce free limits, show your usage, and operate the service.
• Security data: IP address, browser and device signals, request timestamps, and abuse-detection results may be processed by DOG-E, its hosting providers, and Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent fraud and attacks.

Depending on where you live, these activities rely on performing our contract with you, operating a secure service, complying with law, or your consent where consent is required.

3. Retention and deletion

• Uploaded documents, outputs, and job-specific metadata are automatically deleted after the retention period shown in DOG-E, currently two hours. You can delete a completed result sooner from the account screen.
• Account details, aggregate usage history, and quota settings remain while your account is active. “Delete account” permanently removes them together with any retained files.
• Infrastructure providers may retain limited security, fraud, or backup records under their own documented schedules or where law requires it.

Deletion removes data from active DOG-E systems. Data already deleted cannot be restored.

4. Sharing and international processing

DOG-E does not sell personal data or use document contents for advertising. We disclose data only to service providers needed for identity, security, hosting, and document processing; to comply with law; or to protect users and the service. Some providers may process data outside your country. The Subprocessors page identifies the categories, purpose, and provider locations we currently rely on.

5. Your choices and rights

The account screen lets you download or delete retained results and permanently delete your DOG-E account. You may also ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive information about your personal data by emailing support@dog-e.app. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You may complain to the data-protection authority available in your jurisdiction.

6. Children

DOG-E is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal data should contact us for deletion.

7. Changes

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes. If a change materially affects your rights or how we use data, we will provide a prominent notice before it takes effect where reasonably possible.
