Terms of Service
The basic agreement between you and DOG-E when you create an account or translate a document.
Effective and last updated: July 29, 2026
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms form an agreement between you and Jaewon Lee, based in Republic of Korea. By creating an account or using DOG-E, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
DOG-E translates supported Korean documents into English while attempting to preserve their layout. Features, formats, quotas, retention periods, and availability may change. DOG-E may refuse or stop a job when a limit, security control, or technical requirement is not met.
3. Your account
You must use an account you are permitted to control, keep access to it secure, and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You may delete your account from the account screen; deletion is irreversible, although you may create a new account later.
4. Your documents
You keep ownership of your documents. You give DOG-E and its subprocessors a limited, temporary permission to host, reproduce, transform, and transmit them only as needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the requested translation. This permission ends when the retained content is deleted.
You confirm that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to upload the content. Avoid highly sensitive, classified, regulated, or irreplaceable documents unless you have assessed whether this service is appropriate.
5. Prohibited use
You may not use DOG-E to:
- violate law, privacy, intellectual-property, or other rights;
- upload malware or content intended to harm people or systems;
- bypass quotas, authentication, human verification, or access controls;
- probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or resell the service; or
- present an unreviewed translation as authoritative where errors could cause harm.
6. Translation quality and availability
Machine translation can be incomplete, inaccurate, or alter meaning or layout. Review outputs before relying on them, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or official purposes. DOG-E is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that every job will finish or be error-free.
7. Suspension and termination
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect DOG-E, comply with law, investigate abuse, or enforce these Terms. You may stop using DOG-E at any time and may delete your account through the product.
8. Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, DOG-E is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. These Terms are governed by the laws of Republic of Korea, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
9. Changes and questions
We may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where practicable. Questions can be sent to support@dog-e.app.
